Z-Seal™ Technology

Z-Seal™ Technology is an innovative, high expansion seal utilizing primarily a compliant metal in place of a more traditional elastomeric sealing element to create a pressure seal and subsequently help mitigate many common oilfield problems encountered with the use of more common elastomeric seals.

This allows Baker Oil Tools the opportunity to take this unique sealing concept and create a product line offering of wellbore isolation bridge plugs and straddles with which to service the oil and gas industries isolation challenges. This will enable the wider industry the opportunity that North Sea operators have had to capitalize on this technology.

The addition of Z-Seal Technology to our wellbore plugging portfolio positions Baker Oil Tools as the only oilfield service company to offer such a diverse and all encompassing range of solutions for your wellbore intervention isolation needs (zonal shutoff, stimulations, barriers, straddles etc.), including drillable cast iron bridge plugs, industry leading composite plug technology, retrievable service bridge plugs through to the highest expansion inflatable devices coupled with the most diverse range of deployment mechanisms including threaded tubing; coiled tubing; electric wireline; slickline and braided line.
